    Carrie Eglinton Manner

    Carrie Eglinton Manner

    President & Chief Executive Officer

    Carrie Eglinton Manner was named President and Chief Executive Officer of OraSure Technologies in June 2022 and brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership and transformation expertise to the Company. Prior to joining OraSure, Ms. Manner was Senior Vice President, Advanced & General Diagnostics Clinical Solutions, at Quest Diagnostics. In that role, she was responsible for bringing innovative diagnostic solutions to market in the areas of women’s health, neurology, oncology, cardiovascular, metabolic, endocrinology, infectious disease, and immunology testing services, as well as drug monitoring and toxicology. She also led Quest’s pharmaceutical services, AmeriPath/Dermpath, and international businesses, as well as their molecular genetics team in pioneering next-generation sequencing innovation. Prior to Quest Diagnostics, Ms. Eglinton Manner served for 20 years in a variety of leadership roles at GE Healthcare, a division of General Electric (GE). A champion for inclusion and diversity, Ms. Eglinton Manner was co-chair for Quest’s African American Employee Business Network and GE’s Women’s Network. Ms. Manner received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from University of Notre Dame.

    Ken J. McGrath

    Chief Financial Officer

    Kenneth J. McGrath was named Chief Financial Officer in August 2022. Prior to joining OraSure, Mr. McGrath spent eight years at Quest Diagnostics, most recently serving as Vice President in Finance, where he led an organization responsible for more than $7 billion in revenue. He helped build Quest’s Advanced Diagnostics business accelerating growth, while improving profitability with expanded capabilities and innovation. His expertise also includes value creation via partnerships and successfully assessing and integrating multiple acquisitions. Mr. McGrath’s finance operating responsibility also spans information technology, R&D and medical functions, as well as commercial regions. Prior to his time at Quest, Mr. McGrath held various leadership positions in finance operating roles at Johnson & Johnson, Inc. He began his career at Ford Motor Company. He received an M.B.A from the University of Michigan and a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame. He is a CFA Charterholder.

    Michele Anthony

    Senior Vice President, Controller & Chief Accounting Officer

    Michele Anthony is the Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer and is responsible for the Company’s financial accounting and reporting and ensuring compliance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), establishing appropriate accounting policies and procedures, and for overseeing OraSure’s treasury and tax functions. Prior to taking her current role in January 2022, Ms. Anthony started her career at OraSure as the Manager, Financial Reporting and advanced in several positions within the accounting and financial reporting functions to most recently the Company’s Vice President, Finance and Controller. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Anthony served as Manager, Financial Reporting at Knoll, Inc. and as an accountant with Beard Miller Company and Ernst & Young. Ms. Anthony received her B.S. in Accounting from Bloomsburg University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a member of the Pennsylvania and American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

    Kathleen Weber

    Chief Product Officer

    Kathleen Weber was named Chief Product Officer in 2022. In this role, she has responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Medical & Clinical Affairs enterprise-wide across both Diagnostics and Molecular Solutions, as well responsibility for Molecular Solutions R&D. Kathy joined OraSure in 2012 as the Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Products. Her role evolved from 2012 to 2018 to also include at various points in time managing the Emerging Disease Portfolio and leading the development of OraSure’s corporate strategy. Prior to joining OraSure, Ms. Weber held several senior commercial leadership positions at Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson and Schering–Plough. Ms. Weber began her career in the financial services industry and held various positions in U.S. and global marketing and operations at Chase Manhattan Bank, now part of JP Morgan Chase. Ms. Weber received a B.S. degree in business administration from Georgetown University and earned an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

    David Rappaport

    David Rappaport, CFA

    Senior Vice President Corporate Development, Strategy & Integration

    David Rappaport has been the Senior Vice President, Business Development since April 2018. Prior to joining OraSure, Mr. Rappaport served as the Senior Vice President, Healthcare Investment Banking at Raymond James & Associates where he provided investment banking services in the Life Sciences practice group. Prior to his tenure at Raymond James, Mr. Rappaport served as a healthcare investment banker with Inverness Advisors, LLC, Thomas Weisel Partners, and SG Cowen. Mr. Rappaport received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Emory University.

    Rafal Iwasiow

    Rafal Iwasiow, Ph.D.

    Vice President, Science, Innovation & Technology

    Rafal Iwasiow, Ph.D., was named Vice President of Science, Innovation and Technology for OraSure in February 2023. In this role, he leads an enterprise-wide interdisciplinary Research and Development team that includes expertise for product industrial design, chemistry development, assay development, clinical service development, and software engineering. Additionally, he has responsibilities for scientific and clinical affairs, as well as customer technical support. Dr. Iwasiow joined OraSure subsidiary DNA Genotek in 2006 as a Research and Development Scientist and has held roles of increasing responsibility since that time. He has contributed significantly to the company's patent portfolio in numerous areas, including nucleic acid stabilization methods, and physical sample collection devices. Under Dr. Iwasiow’s leadership, the Research and Development team contributed to successful 510(k) clearances of the Oragene®•Dx and OraCollect®•Dx collection devices, the first non-invasive DNA collection device cleared by the FDA, as well as de novo authorization of the Omnigene® GUT•Dx collection device, the first self-collection gut microbiome device. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Iwasiow completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Research Council of Canada in the areas of neurogenesis/neuroprotection. He holds a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Ottawa.

    Amy Steigerwalt

    Senior Vice President, Human Resources

    Amy Steigerwalt is the Senior Vice President, Human Resources responsible for OraSure Technologies’ global talent strategy, diversity and inclusion, total rewards and employee experience. Ms. Steigerwalt joined OraSure in 2017 with many years of Human Resources leadership experience in various industries. She has an extensive and proven background building successful HR teams focused on talent development, employee engagement and driving best practices in talent acquisition and people management. Prior to joining OraSure Technologies, Ms. Steigerwalt spent three years at Air Products in a Global HR leadership role. Prior to that, she held progressively increasing leadership roles at Knoll from 2006 to 2014, as well as additional Human Resources leadership roles at Estee Lauder and Polo. She holds a B.S. from University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Steigerwalt was recognized in Lehigh Valley’s 40 under 40 as a top leader in the community.

    Zachary Wert

    Senior Vice President, Global Operations

    Zachary Wert joined OraSure as our Senior Vice President of Global Operations in July of 2022. He leads operations for our global enterprise and holds responsibility for all teams across our Diagnostics and Molecular Solutions business units. Mr. Wert is an accomplished senior executive leader with experience in operations, manufacturing, product planning and expansion, and strategic leadership overseeing multi-site, large scale teams and high-volume manufacturing. Prior to joining OraSure, Mr. Wert was Senior Vice President of Reagent Manufacturing for Siemens Healthineers, with direct responsibility for a team of more than 2,000 people, consisting of manufacturing, engineering, quality, planning, procurement, and technical operations, with six global sites producing high-volume diagnostics. Before his work with Siemens, he led operations and product development for ThermoFisher, Bausch + Lomb, Genzyme, and J&J Clinical Diagnostics. Mr. Wert has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, and a master’s of business administration degree from Bryant College in Smithfield, RI.

    General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

    Stefano Taucer was named General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in July 2022. He is responsible for overseeing all legal affairs and compliance matters for the entire OraSure family of companies. Mr. Taucer joined OraSure in 2021 and, prior to being appointed as General Counsel, served as Deputy General Counsel, supporting the Molecular Solutions business unit. Previously, he worked as Chief Counsel and Head of Legal for the Canadian R&D operations of a global communications equipment provider, as legal counsel for one of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies, and practiced corporate and securities law at an international law firm. Mr. Taucer holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor's degree in economics from Queen’s University.

    Senior Vice President, Quality & Regulatory

    Trace Custer has joined OraSure as Senior Vice President, Quality and Regulatory. In this role, she oversees all Quality and Regulatory activities for our business globally while partnering enterprise-wide to enable customer, employee, and business success. Her experience spans almost 30 years of operations, quality and regulatory affairs across multiple industries and geographies. She has partnered with business leaders and cross functional teams to achieve successful product registrations and implement effective quality systems and manufacturing excellence. Prior to joining OraSure, Ms. Custer served as Global Head of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Invitae, Associate Vice President (AVP) of Lab Operations and AVP of Quality & Regulatory Compliance at LabCorp, and Executive Director of BioProcess QA at GE Healthcare. She has also partnered with many companies as a consultant to help them take that “next step” in their quality journey. Ms. Custer has a passion for tools such as Lean and Six Sigma which enable Quality and Regulatory to not only ensure compliance, but to help organizations build in quality from the start, simplify processes and reduce waste. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Iowa.
